Your Data Rights (DPDP)

This page explains your rights under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”) and how to exercise them. It supplements our Privacy Policy. Under the DPDP Act, VIANI, operating crackAI.devis the “Data Fiduciary” and you, the user, are the “Data Principal”.

Notice & consent

We process your personal data on the basis of your consent and for the legitimate uses permitted by the DPDP Act. When you sign up, build a learning path, paste a job description, upload a resume, or run a mock interview, you consent to us processing that data for the purpose described at the point of collection and in our Privacy Policy. You may withdraw consent at any time (see below); withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out.

Your rights as a Data Principal

• Right to access: request a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we process it.
• Right to correction & completion: ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data. You can edit most profile data directly in the app.
• Right to erasure: ask us to delete your personal data where it is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected. You can delete content (resumes, interview entries) yourself, and you can delete your whole account.
• Right to withdraw consent: withdraw consent for processing as easily as you gave it.
• Right to grievance redressal: raise a complaint with us about how we handle your data, and receive a response.
• Right to nominate: nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity.

How to exercise your rights

Many actions are self-serve in the app. You can edit your profile, delete a resume or interview, and delete your account from your account settings. For anything else, email contact@crackai.dev from the address associated with your account and tell us which right you want to exercise. We will verify your identity and respond within the timelines required by law.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India.

Your duties

The DPDP Act also asks you, as a Data Principal, to provide accurate information and not to impersonate others or file false or frivolous grievances.
